Virginia allows a signed bill of sale as purchase-price evidence while the title transfer follows its separate process.

All owners sign as sellers, identify the buyer, enter the actual mileage, date, and price. The buyer signs their certification. An eligible online title transfer has additional restrictions.

DHCD publishes current rights-and-responsibilities statements under the residential Act and separately for manufactured-home lots. Add the correct statement to the lease attachment checklist and record delivery and acknowledgment. Verify the applicable category and current law before selecting the deposit, entry, rent, or termination terms.

Virginia financial authority, will execution, and advance medical directives follow separate statutes. Check recording rules when the financial agent will handle property.

Section 64.2-1603 requires principal signature or directed signature in conscious presence. A notarial acknowledgment provides a genuineness presumption; recordable POAs must also meet 55.1-600.
